Clean, amazing peanut-buster parfait and friendly kids taking orders quickly and with smiles. I'm a fan!

Came here to get a smoothie before leaving the mall and waited in line for awhile, the employees seemed completely disengaged with their jobs and it took awfully time to get our orders in. When we finally ordered our smoothies that took quite some time for them to make them. There was a long line and only a couple people working. I don't think I will come back to this location if I'm in the mall again.

I have no specific words or a better way to describe this Dairy Queen location. I'd started telling my friends about DQ ice cream, its not the best but its good and simple. As I was waiting my friends at Victoria's Secret forever, I'd decided going to Dairy Queen, imagined to spend maybe 10 minutes on the ordering line since it was a busy Saturday afternoon... Walked through Starbucks, and their line was long, that was discouraging... I was imagining that DQ could be even worse, got to my surprise, it was not quite empty but it had maybe 7-10 people in front of this small store. People were in front of the cashiers waiting for their orders, not ordering which was strange but I didn't understand at that time, especially when behind the cashiers were more than 10 people working, well... Not really working but goofing around, being noisy screaming and ignoring customers. So I'd ordered a small butterscotch dipped cone. Order was taken fast, but there was no line of process here. Order had been placed and it was sitting in some queue, no butter scotch dipped cone was being made, other side of the cashiers, this group of people goofing around, ignoring their customers. Took me about 15 minutes to get a dipped cone. I guess since I was on my leisure time it was not that bad, but considering people that are on a rush, or that just taking a break from work this place can be miserable. I will not go back to this location ever again, will consider somewhere else, perhaps Ben and Jerry which is across this store.

I was rather disappointed with this DQ-Orange Julius. I remember the Orange Julius when I was a kid, and they used to taste awesome. This was not the case when I visited DQ-Orange Julius the other night. It was later at night, and I understand that they were closing (I was there about 8PM). The kid took my order of one small Orange Julius, grabbed a cup, threw some ice in it with a scoop of mystery ingredient from a push cart with other containers on it (unrefrigerated). He mixed the drink then called my order number even though I was the only one at the counter. The drink was watery on the top, and slushy on the bottom. Maybe this is the new standard for the Orange Julius, but I was disappointed. Think I'll walk right by this place next time.

In the party I was in, we had a dipped cone, a small soft serve, and a medium Oreo Blizzard. Quality wise, as far as the product goes, everything was as you'd expect at DQ. My complaint with this DQ is that it is the picture of inefficiency. With 10-12 people frontside, maybe 3-4 were doing any sort of work. Even with orders stacked up, customers waiting for so long that the were blocking other mall customers from walking by. I am not sure if it was laziness, or managerial ineptitude, but this place was ridiculous. My friend had a small dipped cone, and waited a good 15 minutes to get it, even with so many people just standing around. I had an Oreo Blizzard, and a small vanilla soft serve for another friend's infant daughter, and we also waited about 15 minutes. People, this is not rocket science. It's soft serve ice cream. Put it into a cone, a plastic dish, whatever, and hand it to the paying customer. Instead, they apparently teach the counter staff to scream at passers by (they had to scream, I guess, because the newly arriving customers were stuck behind the paid customers who were stuck in DQ pergatory waiting for their very simple orders."
